What we need
  • Analysis of 1 set of survey data that is already at hand
  • Summary of key findings from survey data

We are launching a survey for food system stakeholders, for the Maine Food Convergence project. We are not sure how long this project will take so are posting it now. We will have the results at the end of July and need a quick turnaround of one week, to get them analyzed. Therefore we hope to match with someone sooner rather than later so they are ready to hit the ground running at the end of this month.

What we have in place
  • We have a food system survey on Survey Monkey that will need data analyzed for a series of meetings through the month of August
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to use funds to support our underfunded project coordinator

This project brings together the wide diversity of Maine organizations working to build equitable and sustainable food systems, convening to encourage better collaboration.

Prep: Review Data
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the survey results to be analyzed and provides context of survey and explains response format that was chosen for the survey
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the goal in mind when the survey was created and what insights would help serve the Organization

Milestone 1: First Round of Analysis
  • Professional reviews the results and and selects most appropriate analysis type based on data (i.e. nominal, ordinal, or interval data)
  • Professional conducts first round of analysis
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session based on first analysis
  • Professional implements feedback

  • Professional conducts second round of analysis and highlights most important findings
