Project details

What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

Our team has researched and prepared text/info for 4 infographics (or 4 sets of infographics, depending on how the design flows), that relate information on the benefits of Wild and Scenic Rivers. The 4 categories are: water quality, recreation, climate resilience to flooding, and economic resilience.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a logo, brand colors, and all the research/information we would like included in each infographic. We can also provide examples for reference, audience information, and additional information if needed. We have a small, nimble team of volunteer communications professionals who will help advise through the development process.

We hope to work with a visually minded designer who has experience creating infographics and work examples to send over.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to fund Rivers Hill Week, support additional Wild and Scenic River designations, and advance a new appropriations strategy for river management funding.

The Wild and Scenic Rivers Coalition conducted a communications survey of members, which revealed that they lack tools to communicate river values--economics, recreation and climate change resilience--to decision makers. Developing a series of easily-understood and customizable infographics will help member organizations better communicate these essential values to the parties critical for advancing their river local river designation campaigns.
