What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)

Urban Boatbuilders is in the process of a brand refresh, and is in need of a new website to accompany the new logo and feel of the organization.
What we have in place
- We currently have a new website architecture with copy already completed, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a site map and stock images, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,787 , allowing us to serve more youth with the time and money saved!
Urban Boatbuilders is celebrating its 25th anniversary this, and a new website would propel in the next 25 years of serving youth. Our current website is clunky, outdated, and doesn't convey our work completely.

Our mission
It is the mission of Urban Boatbuilders to empower youth to succeed in work and life through woodworking and experiential learning.
What we do
In 1995 a small group of community leaders saw an increased lack of opportunities for youth to learn and develop through hands-on activities, and thus formed the nonprofit Urban Boatbuilders. Since that time, this lack of hands-on opportunities has increased, along with youth unemployment rates and an increased emphasis on standardized testing in schools. Urban Boatbuilders seeks to address the gap this creates for youth to gain technical, social, and emotional skills that will prepare them to pursue their academic and vocational goals. Since Urban Boatbuilders was founded more than 20 years ago, the foundations of hands-on learning and skill-building have been used to create and continuously improve strong programs that help youth prepare themselves to pursue their own success in the modern world.
