Project details

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

We ramped up our social media over the last few weeks to align with our virtual fundraiser. We need someone to come in a create a content calendar (and potentially even schedule messaging to be delivered) that will allow us to properly use the social media channels that we currently have running.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a Facebook page and YouTube channel, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have lots of photos, stories, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to work with more kiddos in the hospital.

It will allow us to continue to connect with our organizations supporters and acquire new ones.

Our mission

Our mission is to empower pediatric patients with the wonders of nature and science through multi-sensory learning experiences that promote joy and well-being.

What we do

Wonder Connection serves pediatric patients ages 4-18 at UNC Children's and child and adolescent psychiatric patients at the NC Neurosciences Hospital (at no cost to the patient or hospital). Wonder Connection also serves outpatient families at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. Kids and teens in pediatrics choose from over 20 different activities (including volcano building, slime creation, and animal track investigations) with Wonder Connection. Kids and teens in the psych unit participate in hands-on (and even sometimes outdoor) programming each week. In our 15 years of operation, we've interacted with over 25,000 patients.

Testimonials

Peter was such an asset to our organization. In addition to assisting us with Social Media, he provided some resources and connections to assist our organization. His knowledge of Facebook, wording we should use, the incorporation of videos and hashtags was beneficial for us as we grow our audience base.
