Project details

What we need
  • A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
  • Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
  • Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
  • “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
Additional details

We have an existing Salesforce database and are in the process of migrating from Classic interface to Lightning Experience. In Classic, when you edit a datetime field, you can click on the calendar by the field and it populates the field with the current date and time. In LEX this field is replaced with two fields, and neither of them work with one click. We are looking for someone to build a solution, such as quick action, that would allow the user to enter exact date/time with one click.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an existing Salesforce database (built in Classic) and have enabled Lightning Experience. We are looking for someone to help with this one issue that is interfering with our ability to migrate to/adopt Lightning Experience.

We also have an experienced Salesforce admin who has been managing the transition to LEX who will coordinate with you.
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to focus our resources on other needed customizations that support ongoing business processes and new funding sources.

This project is important because it will help us migrate our users to Salesforce's new UI.

Testimonials

I had a wonderful experience working with Christian. He was professional and easy to communicate with. His applied his experience with Salesforce Lightning Components to solve a problem that I had been struggling with. Afterward, he walked me through what he had set up to make sure I understood the customization. I have a lot of experience with Salesforce and appreciate how quickly Christian understood our problem. I also believe he would be a good fit for someone with very little understanding of Salesforce because he is good at coming up with options and explaining them clearly.

Salesforce Database Customization Project

It was great working with Lauren, because she is open for new ideas and gives honest feedback. We worked through several iterations to find the best solution and to achieve a good user adoption for the new feature we implemented.
