What we need
  • High-resolution logo delivered in vector (.ai, .svg, .eps) and raster (.png, .jpg, .tiff) file formats for digital and print use.
Additional details

Hi! We already have an existing logo but it was created years ago and we would like to update it, or come up with a new one. The current one does not work well with social media and we would like to see something fresh and more engaging. We, of course, don't want to lose out on any brand recognition we might already have established, but I don't know how to marry those two trains of thoughts. New, but also not entirely brand new, if that makes sense? Would love to chat more about it!

What we have in place
  • We have a current logo I can send, & I can certainly tell you about other logos I like We use blue in a lot of our marketing materials, but we don't have an official style guide created. I normally use Trebuchet as a font in some designs that we use, but I am completely willing to use a new font that complements the new logo. I am open and easy and willing to share anything else we have or use.

    Oh! We also have a secondary logo that we use with our partners across the state I can share with you
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to oh boy where do I start! We would be able to better use that money protecting all the rivers in the state of Alabama.

Our current logo is not suited well for social media. We would love a new one that would fit better and would represent what our organization does - as a network of groups / organizations across Alabama.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current logo (if available), branding guidelines, and any existing marketing/communications materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional examples of logos, brands, and design elements preferred, and links to website and social media pages

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss the branding goals, target audience, and preferred design elements
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree upon a style concept
  • Professional creates up to 6 thumbnail sketches of rough ideas for client to review

Milestone 2: Logo Design
  • Volunteer Manager selects 3 of the design options and provides feedback
  • Professional takes sketches and creates up to 3 digital drafts for the logo design based on feedback, and shares with the Volunteer Manager for more feedback
  • Volunteer Manager selects 1 of the design options and provides feedback

Milestone 3: Final Design and Handoff
  • Based on feedback, professional creates the final logo design, and iterates upon the design for final delivery, including versions of the logo for different uses (e.g., black & white, full color, and formats for print and digital use)
  • Professional delivers the final version of the logo including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)
