Project details

What we need
  • Easily accessible fast facts about your Organization or one of your program(s)
  • A consolidated list of frequently asked questions and answers
  • A combination of the facts and FAQs, totaling no more than 2 pages
  • Note: This project is for copy only - for graphic design support, please use the Branded Digital Assets and/or Infographic project
Additional details

I'd like help honing in on what information is best highlighted in a one-sheet informational packet. I plan to also assemble infographics to accompany this copy, and we are hoping to illustrate the vast ripples of our program impacts both within and beyond our stated mission.

What we have in place
  • We currently have years of org. info booklets and great branding guidelines, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have student stories and impact numbers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to use staff hours to seek new solutions to help shelter Seattle's vulnerable homeless population. Our youth have built 25 projects benefitting people living outside and we hope to continue that progress

Each program serves 10-20 students and builds a project that benefits the community in some way - from tiny homes to a social justice library. We feel that it's hard to capture all the layers of community and individual impact that is set in motion through our programming. This type of storytelling is extremely inspiring for new donors and corporate partners. Especially now, in unprecedented times, we'd like to reach new people and find support to adapt our programs to serve students remotely.

Our mission

Sawhorse Revolution is a Seattle-based non-profit serving high school students primarily from Central and South Seattle. Our mission is to foster confident, community-oriented youth through the power of carpentry and craft.

Sawhorse Revolution is what happens each time a student realizes that simple hand tools allow her to transform entire communities.

At its heart, Sawhorse is about expanding young people's understanding of what's possible for their lives. Through collaborative learning and manual creation programs, youth begin to see abundant potential for themselves, peers, and neighbors.
