Project details

What we need
  • Review of up to 15 pages of proposal copy for grammar, style, and thoroughness
  • Advice on how to make future proposal(s) most effective going forward
Additional details

VIPCA is funded annually by the Department of Tourism for its event the USVI Charter Yacht Show. This is a trade show of charter yachts for their exhibit to international charter brokers. The event is the bell weather of how the next charter season will fare in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I need to re-write last year's proposal to be pertinent to this year with more of a professional ROI analysis.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the proposal copy saved in google docs, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a full time staff executive director here to work with you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,847 , allowing us to vest time into working on the VIPCA Marine Apprenticeship charity which is upcoming where VIPCA trains for free 10 local Virgin Islands students to become captains in an intensive 6 week training.

The proposal to the Dept of Tourism can swing the success of the whole marine charter industry. We see the industry as a workforce developer within the community and the more successful the USVI Charter Yacht Show is, and the funding which allows it to succeed, the more the industry can do for its workforce and as an economic contributor.
