Project details

What we need
  • Designs for one piece of marketing or communications collateral (e.g., fact sheet, case study, event invitations)
  • Templates with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: Please post an additional project if more than one piece of collateral is needed
Additional details

This spring, we are hosting our main Fundraiser for the year - a happy hour celebration including a silent auction, raffles, and food. We are looking for a fresh new outlook on our event, and someone who can help us achieve eye-catching materials to advertise the event - primarily an event poster with matching social media headers, invite cards, etc. So the design is for only one poster and then we'll use the same design and tweak it for other needs.

What we have in place
  • We currently have our previous fundraising marketing, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our logos and branding guide, and the ability to provide any other information you need. We know how to make a lot of the items needed, but would love a more professional hand in making them. Having someone who is well versed in designing print materials will allow us to work on the other aspects of our fundraiser and make it the best possible fundraiser we can!
How this will help
This project will save us $3,244 , allowing us to to keep event costs low, thus allowing us to offer the happy hour for free, and raise even more donations!

We're a small organization that desperately needs this fundraiser to be a huge success! Our goal is to raise $10,000 at the event, so we need marketing materials that will help us have a full house full of excited donors.

Our mission

Empowering immigrant, minority and indigenous leaders to fight poverty and injustices through small-sale, grassroots community efforts by empowering leaders to be the change-makers their communities need.

What we do

Solutions to poverty and injustice must be led by people from within the community. We help people build their skills for leading social change locally. Cultivate exists to empower & equip community insiders and their allies through leadership development and capacity-building programs to transform their communities through asset-based community-led development. We work with people domestically and internationally to help them launch and lead nonprofit organizations (or NGOs, INGOs, or charitable organizations) which address their community's struggles against poverty, oppression, racism, injustice, and marginalization so that they can be community change-makers.

Working with Elaine at Cultivate was a great experience. I appreciated her enthusiasm and she was able to provide me all the direction and background I needed. Cultivate has a great approach to fighting poverty by working with local leaders in their own communities and I was glad to be a small part of it.
