Keep Growing Detroit would like a poster designed for a campaign we're launching this spring.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a great idea, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time to describe what we're looking for in detail, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to have more resources available to provide direct support to our stakeholders.

This project will help Keep Growing Detroit promote our work and engage stakeholders in our mission.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional existing branding or marketing materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with relevant background information on the Organization, mission, and core values

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, target audience, and how the illustration will be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align expectations for the initial drawings and agree upon a timeline

Milestone 2: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional drafts and presents three concepts for the Organization’s illustration
  • Volunteer Manager chooses a favorite concept and provides up to two rounds of feedback, which the Professional uses to refine the Illustration

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers a final version of the Illustration in digital form

Our mission

Keep Growing Detroit (KGD) exists to promote a food sovereign city where the majority of fruits and vegetables Detroiters consume are grown by residents within the city's limits.

What we do

Our organization operates a number of nationally recognized programs, including the Garden Resource Program (GRP) and Grown in Detroit (GID). These programs and KGD's strategic approach to achieving our mission facilitates beginner gardeners becoming engaged community leaders and food entrepreneurs, addressing the immediate needs of the community while promoting sustainable change in our food system. KGD also operates the KGD Farm a 2-acre site in the heart of downtown the Eastern Market District.
