Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity

Project details

What we need
  • Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
  • Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
  • High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details

My one concern with a crest is that I don't want it to look like a university or Harry Potter. :) Just using this as a design idea but I think simple, streamlined, and modern would be great. Not too much focus on police.

What we have in place
  • We currently have ideas for a logo, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to give more back to the community. Everything raised goes back out. Many donors from across the community have contributed to the fund.

I imagine this is a little bit of an unusual situation. I work for The Cape Cod Foundation and I have a donor-advised fund through the Foundation in memory of my husband who was killed almost two years ago. Our family has been talking about wanting a logo to professionalize the fund and brand, as well as potentially for t-shirts, etc. down the road if we ever do events. The community has been very generous but we'd like to differentiate our family fund from other things people have done.

Our mission

The Cape Cod Foundation is a community foundation whose mission is to build permanent charitable resources for community betterment through informed grantmaking and civic leadership.

What we do

The Cape Cod Foundation is a charitable community trust organized as a nonprofit in 1989 to serve the needs of the people of Cape Cod. The Foundation acts as a vehicle for linking community resources with community needs. We accomplish this by building a pool of funds, investing them, and distributing income from the funds to nonprofit organizations and institutions working to support all that is good about Cape Cod.

One of more than 800 community foundations in the United States, the Cape Cod Foundation is about people helping their neighbors, their neighborhoods, and the communities they feel passionate about. The Foundation pools these contributions into an endowment so that the resulting income provides a continuing resource for the community.

Today the Cape Cod Foundation manages more than 300 individual charitable funds, no two of which are exactly alike in their purpose. Many are set up by donors to address a specific problem or area of concern or to address evolving challenges. As the Cape Cod community changes, the Foundation redirects its program to respond to those changes. At all times, the Cape Cod Foundation is dedicated to addressing the issues that are of the greatest importance to the people of Cape Cod.
