Social Media Content Calendar

Project details

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
What we have in place
  • I have two opportunities to help with the social media presence of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Lansing and Relay For Life of MSU. Both events have Facebook and Instagram accounts that have a following. Each month we have a newsletter that helps with creating posts and topics. We also have loads of information and other event pages that can help create ideas.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to focus our time on fundraising to find a cure for cancer and to support resources for those currently going through cancer.

This will help us increase awareness on our event and how it impacts our community.

Our mission

The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
