Individual Donor Letter
Individual Donor Letter
Project details
What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details
We have many donors who are interested and donate small sums regularly but are capable of donating much larger amounts to get us to our end goal. If they felt compelled by a solid business plan ,which we are also working on, and a well articulated letter, that outlined our excellent project, we believe we could increase our fundraising immeasurably. We have, as of yet, not made any really big asks because we don't have a well crafted request.
What we have in place
- We currently have a project posted for a clear business plan, a brochure, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a short film on our website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to continue to cover the operating costs of our after school and summer programming while we fundraise for our permanent home.
This letter could be a very valuable tool in our fundraising kit. We have several potential large donors who we want to approach but we want to make a good first impression.

Our mission
We support individuals with autism and their families through extracurricular activities, job training, therapies, and other supports, and strive for their lifelong independence, confidence, and happiness.
What we do
The Island Autism Group provides comprehensive therapeutic services, activities and programs, hard goods and equipment for educational growth and development of children with autism to further integrate them into society. The group also funds seminars, speakers, and workshops that advance and educate parents, teachers, and caregivers of children who do not fully participate in inclusive programs due to their disabilities.
