What we need
  • Analysis of website’s on-page content, technical structure, and presence of inbound links on other websites for search engine optimization
  • Actionable steps to improve website’s performance in search engines via organic search

We are looking for an SEO audit of our website prior to us pursuing a Google ad grant.

What we have in place
  • Our website has great visuals and was updated early last year to hopefully make it easier to navigate. We also have a Google Analytics account that has not been customized much (this is something we would also like to do). Finally, we have a web developer who is great and helps us implement the changes we'd like to see. Because we are a small non-profit and her services are not inexpensive, we thought the deliverables from this project might provide her with a good roadmap after completion.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,767 , allowing us to put these funds towards the reprinting of one of our annual magazines.

This project is important to us because our website and its content are integral to our educational work, and we want these to be easy to find from wherever a site visitor may come. In addition, this will set us up well to apply for and implement a Google ad grant later this year.

  • Professional assesses technical site elements that affect crawlability like sitemap, use of HTTPS, HTML structure, site speed, and presence of 404 or server errors
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve search engine indexing

Milestone 3: Off-Site Link Audit
  • Professional uses a free tool (like Moz ) to assess presence and state of backlinks and anchor text
  • Professional provides recommendations to improve domain and page authority

The goal of Wild Seed Project is to build awareness of the vital importance of native plants and to provide people with the tools to restore biodiversity in their own communities.
