Project details

What we need
  • A compilation of research on a specific topic (e.g. industry best practices, literature review, media contacts, industry trends, etc.) including a list of sources
  • Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
  • Note: This project is not designed to be used for prospect or grant research
Additional details

For 2020, Sheltertech is hoping to create partnerships with more corporations (especially ones that have made the 1% pledge). We'd like to partner with a volunteer to: 1. identify interested corporations within San Francisco; 2. Identify social impact person we need to contact; 3. identify approach; 4. identify when they set up budgets and how they're looking to get involved

What we have in place
  • We currently have a finished product and literature explaining our programs, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have volunteers with connections to potential organizations, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,239 , allowing us to expand our free to use the platform to more Bay Area cities, connect more homeless shelters with free WiFi, and create a reliable stream of funding for future projects.

Recently established in 2016, our organization has minimal partnerships with well-established organizations. In 2020, we hope to change that. With a volunteer team of nearly 100 individuals and a strong connection with San Francisco's mayor's office of housing and community development, we have a team that can sell itself and merely needs to identify interested partners.
