What we need
- A compilation of research on a specific topic (e.g. industry best practices, literature review, media contacts, industry trends, etc.) including a list of sources
- Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
- Note: This project is not designed to be used for prospect or grant research
Additional details
Research for available scholarships for summer/fall semester 2020 for the following demographic:
Single parent households (specifically single mothers), women in: nursing, engineering, business, or finance, low income families, racially diverse, first generation college graduate, scholarships available specific to Arizona or nationwide, female survivors of domestic abuse, Scholarships for child enrichment: extracurricular, sports, child care
What we have in place
- We currently have a clear cut demographic of committed single mom scholars, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have flexibility and need for scholarship opportunities, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,154 , allowing us to use that money towards emergency financial assistance (rent, utilities, etc) for scholars who are faced with unexpected expenses.
This project is important for our Single Mom Scholar program because we want to further provide more opportunities for our scholars to succeed personally and professionally as they obtain their degrees. Having our scholars apply for scholarships allows our scholars to not only continue to be successful but learn skills that will be useful for further generations as they seek to change generational poverty.
