What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information

We already have a template, we mainly need help re-writing/re-structuring some areas.

  • We currently have a template, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have um, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to focus on our mission of releasing innocent people from prison.

This will update employees on organization policies and procedures. Currently ours is out of date which creates confusion for employees.

Our mission

The Midwest Innocence Project (MIP) is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the investigation, litigation, and exoneration of wrongfully convicted men and women in our five-state region, including Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. We work to free the wrongfully convicted, educate the public, and change policy to prevent future wrongful convictions.

What we do

We represent people convicted of crimes they did not commit, investigate, and litigate to regain their freedom. We also work to enact policy to prevent wrongful convictions on the front end.
