What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
What we have in place
- We currently have examples of past letters used as well as a current draft, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have other marketing materials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to provide direct legal advice to 47 parents, or help 8 veterans remove a barrier to self-sufficiency, or support 2 heroes to adopt an abandoned or neglected child.
We are a small private nonprofit without a separate development office or staff. Private donations make up the bulk of our operating funds, so persuasive communication that compels donors to financially support our cause is critical.
