What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details

hello - we have a year end letter for direct mail to renew donors and acquire new donors. We need a second pair of eyes to refresh the language as well as fine tune it so that our messaging is different for new/existing donors.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a draft letter and last year's letter as a refernce, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have background information, annual report and other letters, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,540 , allowing us to invest in activities and projects in schools and broader community. The cost savings also allows us to invest in acquiring new potential donors through add'l channels - social media & marketing.

We are seeing an increase in hate incidents and crimes over the past 4 years. We document and report on hate crimes in the county through a public-private partnership. Just this past year, we've responded to several incidents on school campuses.

This project will help OC Human Relations communicate to a larger audience to express the urgency of our need to continue our work and to address a systemic issue around the climate of hate and discrimination in the county.
