What we need
  • 1-2 page press release that can be distributed to news outlets
Additional details

We just need a short (1 page) press release announcing our grantee list for 2019. The hook is our organizing and redistricting efforts around the 2020 census, along with our three primary initiatives of Voter Rights & Engagement, Immigration Rights, and Education Reform. Will share more details / files once we connect!

What we have in place
  • We currently have An executive summary, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a preview website that is almost finished / public, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,852 , allowing us to hopefully renew catchafire! (This was part of a Kellogg grant SPF received). Thanks!

I am relatively new to Southern Partners Fund but it's grown out of my grandmother's family foundation so I want to do my best! Frankly, I'm being asked to write a press release on not such a compelling or even press release worthy topic (2019 grantees). But I'm following direction of our E.D. and would love to have this to reference back to for future press releases as well. Getting the word out about census organizing is still critical!

  • Professional writes draft of press release and shares with Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager gives feedback, which Professional incorporates
  • Professional delivers final version of press release
  • (Optional) Volunteer Manager incorporates Press Release into Press Kit
