What we have in place
- We currently have past annual reports that you can peruse through and, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have draft text of what we want included in the annual report, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,760 , allowing us to communicate best our impact to our donors so that they can be encouraged to give more.
We want a presentable annual report written that will communicate our impact best within the last year to our current and prospective donors.
We also want this to go hand in hand with great visuals and we will post a graphic design project separate for this.

Our mission
Hatua Network ends generational poverty by preparing promising, low-income youth to thrive in Kenya's workforce. Through scholarships, mentoring and career guidance, Hatua helps top students gain the skills, credentials and networks they need to lift themselves out of poverty.
What we do
To ensure our community's brightest youth reach their potential, Hatua Network provides scholarships to top students who cannot afford education. In 2023, Hatua supports 880 youth.
Holiday mentoring for high school students on life skills, civics and career guidance prepares our students for a successful transition through secondary to university. Once in higher education we pair each student with a professional working in the field he or she wishes to pursue. Mentors are tasked with helping students develop the skills, experience and networks they'll need to launch their own careers.
Through scholarships, mentoring and career guidance Hatua helps youth finish school and enter the workforce as professionals and responsible citizens. As a cohort of well-educated professionals who understand the challenges of poverty, have received help and know the importance of helping others, and see each other as one family despite their various ethnicities, Hatua's alumni will be uniquely positioned to help uplift our community through their economic activity and civic engagement.
