Any way to get TechSoup validation for properly constituted UK non-profit that is not a registered charity?
Additional context
GM Freeze is non-profit but not a registered charity. We are run just like a charity, with a volunteer board and recognised non-profit tax status. We aren't charity registered because we occasionally do work that is a bit too political for the charity commission's rules.
Many tech suppliers say they offer non-profit discounts but then ask for Tech Soup validation which requires a charity number. I'd love to know of a way round this because we are paying too much for some IT services and missing out completely on others as a result.
