Brochure Graphic Design

Project Details

What We Need
  • Print-ready brochure template provided in a high-resolution format (jpeg, pdf, etc.)
  • Accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: This project does not include printing
Additional Details

I am looking for someone to help me improve the impact of my programs by updating my event flyers.

What We Have In Place
  • I currently distribute flyers to potential participants (students and schools). A lot of time the flyer is then shared through the schools digital backpack. Occasionally the flyer is posted in a classroom. I would like a flyer that grabs the reader and hopefully improves participation.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to use that money to hire someone to improve our existing curriculum and those make the day more rewarding for our students.

We have about 20 programs a year with the aim of reaching about 50 students. A compelling flyer would help us reach our goal of touching the lives of 1000 students annually.

Project Plan

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with high-resolution logo and visual brand guidelines or examples, images you'd like to include in brochure (if applicable), and finalized copy for brochure

Milestone 2: Preliminary Design
  • Professional performs initial design and layout and sends to Organization for up to 3 rounds of review and feedback
Milestone 3: Final Design
  • Professional finalizes designs, digitizes the artwork and delivers high-resolution versions, along with print specifications to Organization
  • Professional advises on best practices for printing

Our Mission

The mission of Random Hacks of Kindness Junior, Inc. (RHoKJr) is to empower students to use technology to positively impact the challenges facing local nonprofits in their communities. We do this by hosting one-day hackathons around the state where 4th-8th grader are paired with computer science mentors and nonprofit representatives to develop prototype smartphone apps for local charities. Using an MIT developed coding tool students will learn the basics of app design, as well as the ideation and brainstorming process required to build a successful prototype mobile application. All students regardless of their computing background are welcome.
