Project details

What we need
  • Audit of the existing systems and processes; the audit is limited to hiring and termination practices, work scheduling, payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance, and compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Recommendation for process improvements and software providers (if necessary)
  • Implementation of chosen software (if necessary)
  • Training on maintenance tasks
Additional details

We are looking at hiring two employees full-time with benefits packages and developing HR

What we have in place
  • We currently have a budget (from funding made available for 2 remote-hires) and a payroll contractor and Finance manager on contract. We are happy to work together and provide further information and support throughout the process.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to reimburse the costs for up to two farms to be certified at regenerative organic. We are still piloting out our certification costs, but we intend to develop a cost-share program for ROC.

We are an organization that calls for farmer and worker fairness, along with other tenets of regenerative organic agriculture. Currently, we have employees working on contract. We are hoping to develop compelling benefits and job offer packages so that we can develop a company culture that is aligned with our values, movement away from contract workers and towards full-time, benefitted employees.

Our mission

The Regenerative Organic Alliance exists to heal a broken system, repair a damaged planet, and empower farmers and eaters to create a better future through regenerative organic farming, the highest standard for ethical and environmentally friendly agriculture in the world.

What we do

The ROA oversees Regenerative Organic Certified(tm), a revolutionary new certification for food, textiles, and personal care ingredients. ROC(tm) farms and products meet the highest standards in the world for soil health, animal welfare, and farmworker fairness.

In addition to managing the ROC(tm) program, the ROA shares the benefits of regenerative organic agriculture to our audience through social media and email.
