Project details

What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

We need help developing a one page infographic to distribute to all our front-line workers and managers about best methods to use for various communication needs. This will distill our new Internal Agency Communication plan to a quick reference guide that will help staff members choose the best modes of communication. We're picturing a sheet that could be laminated and hung on the wall that shows various scenarios paired with icons of the best communication tool to use for that scenario.

What we have in place
  • We currently have The full Internal Communication Plan and sample infographics, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have An agency style guide, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to * Support more people with disabilities in achieving their goals to live as independently as possible.

With over 900 employees at 65+ sites supporting over 2000 people, most of whom have a developmental disability, we all need to work together and communicate as clearly as possible. A clear infographic summarizing expected best practice communication skills will be a helpful resource and will help us articulate a consistent message throughout the agency. Our employees will also be able to better support and role model good communication skills for the people we serve.

Our mission

We partner with individuals of all abilities to reach their fullest potential, protecting their rights and promoting their independence and inclusion in our community.

What we do

For three decades, our agency has designed person-centered programs that seek to close known service gaps for people with disabilities--with an emphasis on aiding persons diagnosed with developmental disabilities. We consistently take an approach to service planning and delivery that attends to strengths, needs and informed choices of each person.

Testimonials

Can't say enough about how great it was working with Xiaofeng. We needed an infographic type poster for an internal agency communication project we were working on. Xiaofeng understood immediately what we were looking for, completed a great first draft very quickly and then worked with us on edits we needed when we ran the draft by other committee members. He even made us an extra hand-out card to go with the poster. His work was excellent & timely and he had a friendly way of interacting. We are so thankful!

Infographic Project

Diana was really nice to work with. She and Kelly were very passionate about the project from the beginning, and that got me quite motivated as well. These internal communication programs can seem plain and serious at times, but Diana and the team were very active reading and editing and testing and giving feedback, so the process was very enjoyable. I really hope works like this can bring the team and the community closer.
