Project details

What we need
  • A list of suggested vendors, such as: catering, venue, audio/visual (AV), decorations, merchandising
  • Spreadsheet outlining expected costs per vendor
Additional details

We are planning an event in November to celebrate a major milestone - reaching 1000 members.

We are looking for help with sourcing vendors for the event - specifically venues and potential sponsors who may be interested in donating to a raffle.

What we have in place
  • We currently have criteria for an event venue that would be ideal, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a budget, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to create a budget for our event and bring in new members!

It's difficult to find venue space for a nonprofit event even when we have a budget! This often prevents us from being able to host larger events.

Our mission

Surfrider Foundation NYC is an environmental organization that advocates for the protection and enjoyment of our ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful grassroots activist network. The NYC chapter is one of 80 chapters across the country, making up the Surfrider Foundation network.

What we do

We are a group of rockstar volunteers who defend our ocean and beaches from the threat of fossil fuel infrastructure, plastic pollution, poor water quality and more. Our work is primarily focused in Rockaway, where you will find us hosting regular beach clean ups, community events and working with local youth to foster the next generation of coastal defenders.
