Additional details
We have recently launched our Beach Cleanup Experience program to help us leverage the high volume of requests we get from companies who want to bring their employees out to volunteer. As part of the package, we compile a summary report containing metrics of the impact they made - e.g how many straws, cigarette butts they picked up. We would like to have a professional branded report document designed that reflects our organization and is easy for us to update for each company.
What we have in place
- We currently have a good idea on what we would like to include in our report, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have existing marketing materials that convey our vibe, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to divert the funds to our other program like the Surfing for the Environment Youth Program and our Blue Water Task Force Water Quality program.
The beach cleanup program has evolved into a whole new revenue stream for us that will enable us to take the chapter to the next level. We really need to get the operations as streamlined and polished as possible to realize the full potential of this program!

Our mission
Surfrider Foundation NYC is an environmental organization that advocates for the protection and enjoyment of our ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful grassroots activist network. The NYC chapter is one of 80 chapters across the country, making up the Surfrider Foundation network.
What we do
We are a group of rockstar volunteers who defend our ocean and beaches from the threat of fossil fuel infrastructure, plastic pollution, poor water quality and more. Our work is primarily focused in Rockaway, where you will find us hosting regular beach clean ups, community events and working with local youth to foster the next generation of coastal defenders.
