What we need
- Setup of selected accounting software (e.g. Aplos, Araize)
- Training and guidelines on how to manage system and generate basic reports
What we have in place
- We currently have Quickbooks Online account linked to our bank account, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have A Keela account and Excel spread sheets on donor an budget, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,409 , allowing us to put that amount in books on diversity, directly to Southern Arizona public school classrooms.
Getting a handle on accounting principles will go along way to understand how to navigate Quickbooks Online and know the correct way to track expenses,donor and in-kind assets

Books for Classrooms works to improve literacy for children from pre-school through 12th grade by providing teacher selected, relevant, age appropriate books that encourage an understanding of diversity, peace, social justice and conflict resolution to district public schools at no charge. We do not provide books to for-profit charter schools.
