Board Structures & Role Definitions

Project details

What we need
  • Document outlining relationship of board to your organization and metrics of board success
  • Document outlining scope of roles within board, including empty seats if applicable
Additional details

Team building.
Ways to keep people on track and inspired to participate in a productive manner.
Board diversity.

What we have in place
  • We currently have access to CGT policies, procedures, minutes and past ED's, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some very motivated current Board members willing to learn, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,882 , allowing us to spend more time educating our Gardeners and our overall Tucson community about organic gardening, find grant money, plan more fundraising and participate in more community events.

Our organization has the opportunity to regenerate itself through some new Board Member talent. Creating clearly defined roles and a clear board structure will generate momentum and work flow, making the tasks more on target to the role as well as more consistent. It will also free up a lot of time so each individual can focus on their specific area and share information in a more productive manner. It will alleviate problems with inconsistencies and overlap.
