Event Planning Strategy Sessions

Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with an events professional covering topics like concept, general structure, logistics, and target attendees.
  • A written summary of topics discussed, including event concept and theme, general plan, estimated budget, and articulated goals (feel free to use this template as a starting point).
  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event.
Additional details

Hello! We are looking for someone to take point on our annual gala taking place mid-February. We've hosted the event for 5 years, though we had to skip this year's due to our Founder passing away. We're looking to re-engage the community, which happens to be our largest donor base, and show them that our organization is moving forward in a big way, with our Founder, Matt, in spirit.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a good idea of what's worked well in past, a new tool, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have venue, will have committee, engaged board members, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to build the new, revolutionary tool for those facing cancer!

Sioux Falls, SD, is our largest donor base as that is where our Founder, Matt Ellefson, was from. They've historically kept our organization afloat financially speaking. I'm sure there is some form of doubt as to the health of the org due to Matt passing, but we are moving forward in a big way. We'd love to engage this great community and raise dollars to keep us going!
