Our mission

LEAD's mission is to empower an at-risk generation to lead and transform their city of Atlanta by using the sport of baseball to teach Black boys how to overcome three curveballs that threaten their success: crime, poverty and racism.

What we do

Through the methodologies of sport-based youth development, positive youth development and education based athletics, we provide year-round mentoring and leadership programming delivered in a trauma informed, healing centered approach.

Testimonials

I had a great experience working with Sara. She was knowledgable about the workforce make-up of the youth development space and provided room in the plan for us to offer more benefits as our donors/revenues increase.
