What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
Cleaner, simpler design that is more professional and current and easier to navigate than our current site. Insure that prioritized goals are getting the correct focus.
Add specific features like a real time calendar of events
Improve site visibility
Decrease load time
Incorporate social media

- We currently have a website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated board member, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to spend more resources on programming for immigrant integration

Our mission
IMMIGRANT FAMILY SERVICES INSTITUTE strives to address the academic and personal challenges confronting our immigrant children by providing targeted support and enrichment services as a way to maximize their potential in school and beyond. IFSI also advocates for immigrants by reducing barriers to accessing services and works with immigrants most affected by recent changes to immigration legislation including Temporary Protective Status (TPS). IFSI also advocates for immigrants' rights and access to services including health care, education, housing and other social services.
What we do
IFSI-USA offers three well attended and growing children's programs. PLUS+ afterschool serves roughly 40 immigrant children with academic tutoring and musical instrument instruction. PLUS+ weekend offers academic tutoring, college prep and musical ensemble instruction. PLUS+ summer offers full day academic and enrichment programming including a middle school STEAM curriculum.
For adults, IFSI offers workshops and services around immigration concerns including alternative paths to citizenship and rights as well as parent workshops.

Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had with Jesse and the magnificent work he did in creating a new website for IFSI. Jesse did an incredibly thorough job of researching IFSI to create a website that met our needs as well as conveyed our personality. He ran analytics and studied the old site's traffic. He interviewed a number of people on staff and users of the site to get a good sense of the needs. He read a lot of marketing material and asked a lot of great questions. He looked at comparable websites. All of this work led to a wonderful design--clean, clear, easy to navigate and working well for all types of users including constituents, staff and funders. Jesse was always responsive and very clear about deliverables and time tables. After the design was established, he worked diligently to put all the pieces together using webflow. He spent a great deal of time educating us on the different possible hosts and helping us pick the right one for us that would be economical and easy to edit while still providing a professional look. He is an awesome teacher and taught us how to edit the side as needed and really got into the details of transferring the domain to the new site--well beyond the call of duty. We really felt Jesse cared so much about IFSI and making sure the new website was the absolute best it could be. We could not be more pleased. You would be so lucky to work with Jesse--he has our highest recommendation!!!
