Project details

What we need
  • A 1-2 page written document that summarizes the Organization’s needs and goals for effective remote/hybrid work
  • Best practices and tips for the Organization’s remote staff members, including recommendations on the best virtual collaboration tools, such as Slack, Google apps, Zoom, etc.
  • Recommendations for managing projects with remote/hybrid staff, including how to set up a digital workspace for easy collaboration, and how to establish communication styles and structures that support effective teamwork
Additional details

We want to empower our staff to be part of the organization's growth. Building trust is important and to be proactive about the level of communication. Lastly, we want to set accountability and expectations with metrics to establish this.

What we have in place
  • We currently have 12 staff members and using Microsoft Teams for communication, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some guidelines on how to work remotely, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,836 , allowing us to to increase our programs to another school for an entire school year serving approximately 120 students.

This project is important because our team is growing and more of our staff is working on projects together. We want to keep communication open and also have accountability for all of our employees.

Our mission

The mission of Pure Game is to provide positive mentors who champion the development of a child's self-esteem and confidence, inspiring them to believe in themselves and the possibilities of a better life.

What we do

Pure Game is a unique teaching platform that infuses a cooperative and inclusive style of athletics with a character-building curriculum for underserved youth. The flexible Pure Game system allows youth of all ages and skill levels to play virtually anywhere - parks, gyms, parking lots or even streets, which is particularly important in low income communities that lack recreational space. The beauty of the Pure Game model is that it is based on the most popular and accessible sport in the world, soccer; through this sport we teach kids to be thoughtful, make positive decisions, and to believe in themselves.

Our ultimate goal is to teach vulnerable children in Orange County to learn and grow not just through their successes, but through their failures as well. Learning these skills now helps youth stay on the right path, gain self-confidence, develop leadership skills, and lead healthy lifestyles. Our motto, "Life, played at full potential," reflects the belief that every child deserves a champion that will promote this life-changing message of growth and empowerment.
