What we need
- An organized and edited press kit for your Organization that contains and consolidates key media assets, such as: Your organization's backgrounder (an “about us" page), short biographies of senior staff, FAQs and an organizational fact sheet, logo(s) and other visual branding assets, relevant press release(s) and related media coverage, and contact information
- Note: This project does not include writing materials or creating visual assets from scratch

We'd love a professionally organized press packet to help explain what we do to the press and potential sponsors.
What we have in place
- We currently have a mission statement, website, bios, press release, & info, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have articles, radio & news interviews, stunning photos & video, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to focus our resources on our arts and wellness programs for social impact, bringing beautiful and life- shifting programs to low income and underserved folks that usually don't have access.
Our work is beautiful and impactful, but we often can't get the importance of what we are doing across to the press and potential funders. With better press, we'll be able to have a bigger impact on community with our arts and wellness programs, including exposing more children to the arts and U.S. history, low income adults to Back Pain prevention classes, and Fall Prevention for seniors.

Our mission
Grown Women Dance Collective creates cross-cultural, generational, and class connections, encouraging dialogue, empowering thought and action, and building racial harmony through concert dance and wellness programs. In a positive and nurturing environment, mature dancers challenge the stereotypes of aging, create artistic work that is relevant and accessible to diverse and underserved audiences, promote mind and body healing through health and fitness programs, and create economic opportunities for young people.
What we do
Arts & Wellness for Social Justice
1) World-class dance concerts that teach and celebrate Black history; celebrating resistence, resilience, self-empowerment and joy.
2) Free community arts & wellness classes: Dance, Dance with Literacy (Black history and African American poetry), Pilates for Back & Joint Pain, Fall Prevention for Seniors
3) Pilates & Joyful Movement Life Skills Certification- creates audacious movement leaders in under resourced communities that bring arts, pain prevention, fall prevention, nutrition, financial literacy, and well paying careers into their own communities.
