What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details

A one-two color design to use as our Training Shirt logo. Design should feature the name Students Run LA. Shirt will be worn by students and their leaders at all events, so it serves as a uniform. The students shirt will be white and the leader shirt will be yellow/gold.

What we have in place
  • We currently have previous designs and logos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have samples, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to participate in the needed training events leading to the Los Angeles Marathon

This is our uniform for the 3600 of us who are training and participating in our monthly events. It's a key part of our brand.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional existing branding or marketing materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with relevant background information on the Organization, mission, and core values

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, target audience, and how the illustration will be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align expectations for the initial drawings and agree upon a timeline

Milestone 2: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional drafts and presents three concepts for the Organization’s illustration
  • Volunteer Manager chooses a favorite concept and provides up to two rounds of feedback, which the Professional uses to refine the Illustration

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers a final version of the Illustration in digital form

Each year, SRLA welcomes more than 3,200 middle and high school students at 185 public schools and community programs across Greater Los Angeles to train alongside their teachers to complete the entire Los Angeles Marathon.
