Our business plan is for a new center which will be called Wakan Tipi Center. This will be a Dakota Cultural and Environmental Interpretive Center on the East Side of St Paul honoring Wakan Tipi, a Dakota Sacred Site, which means Dwelling Place of the Sacred. Our business plan objectives are two fold; to help attract donors and to provide our organizational direction for our first year of operations.
We are currently running a capital campaign to construct a Dakota cultural and environmental interpretive center on the East Side of St Paul. This will be a one of a kind educational center in the Twin Cities. Having a solid, well defined business plan will help attract donors to the project and reflect the important nature of the project, as well as the strength and sustainability of the work.
Lower Phalen Creek Project is an East Side Saint Paul, MN organization whose mission is to engage people in honoring and caring for our natural places and the sacred sites and cultural value within them.
