What we need
  • A professionally designed annual report, up to 20 pages, with print-ready specifications
Additional details

A key communications piece for us to use with current and prospective funders & donors & with partner organizations that use our services is a FOUR PAGE annual highlights report, which features 5 or so program successes, a performance infographic, such as # of meals served & workshops offered, etc. It also lists funders/donors and staff. No financial data. We seek a graphic designer to create 2 or 3 design concept options & then work with us to produce with photos and text we will provide.

What we have in place
  • We currently have past year examples, a themeline, and story list, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a highly competent management and project team, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to provide critical support to our outreach and development team.

This is THE important piece that we use to inform current funders and donors, cultivate new ones and also partner organizations who use our broad array of services that help NYC older adults, their families, and communities to thrive.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with high-resolution logo and visual branding guidelines, finalized copy, and any additional content to be included in annual report
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of previous annual reports with Professional (if any)

Milestone 1: Brainstorming
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss the story the Organization wants to tell and brainstorm how key data can be highlighted and visualized
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon a timeline

Milestone 2: Preliminary Annual Report Design & Feedback
  • Professional creates a preliminary design and shares with Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback
  • Repeat feedback process (if necessary)

Milestone 3: Final Annual Report
  • Professional delivers final version of annual report in PDF format, with print-ready specifications

What we do

PSS was founded in 1962 as Presbyterian Senior Services by volunteers to serve older members of their church community. Today, PSS is an innovative, multi-service nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency whose mission is to strengthen the capacity of older New Yorkers, their families, and communities to thrive. PSS has over 70 dedicated staff and over 250 committed volunteers and interns. With a $6+ million annual budget, we are able to run nine busy community centers for older adults, family caregiver and kinship family support programs through PSS Circle of Care three residences - including the first one purposefully built for grandparents raising children - and Coming of Age NYC's popular educational programs that inspire adults 50+ to live with passion and purpose.
