What we need
- Initial assessment of areas of strength, targets for improvement and specific areas of focus desired for the coaching sessions
- Up to 6 coaching sessions exploring areas such as motivation, empowerment, collaboration, communication, giving / receiving feedback & conflict management
- Wrap-up session with actionable steps and advice moving forward as a manager
Additional details
We have two new first-line managers navigating their new power and influence. We are interested in learning about the best practices around team building, conflict resolution, and work flow management.
What we have in place
- The two managers currently have a couple months of managerial experience and understand the scope of work that we are responsible for delegating/completing. Long time managers in other departments have shared some of their habits, though there is no company wide policy & procedures regarding managing employees.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to better serve our current tenants and clients as well as expand our work to build new affordable units and serve more vulnerable households.
We are thrilled to have more young people in positions of power within our organization and we are committed providing the necessary training and resources. This training would be an important first step in developing the future leaders of our organization.
