What we need
- Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
- Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
Additional details
We are a small organization with only one part-time employee (the ED) and three part-time contractors. We are hopeful to build capacity to offer more stable work with incentives and salaries.
I need assistance with:
1) Making sure that current pay rates (contractors) and salary (for ED) is reasonable or needs to be adjusted.
2) Coming up with a plan to expand, extend to salaries and what kind of financial resources would be required to do so.
What we have in place
- We currently have an ED who has all the information on this, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Development Officer, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,836 , allowing us to practically pay a whole other part-time staff person for the year.
We have a prospective donor who may be interested in helping us build our capacity and very much need to be ready to pitch what we are looking to ask for/what we need. This could help us move from start-up phase to a growing/healthy nonprofit.

We empower filmmakers, produce social-change films, and engage audience members to advocate for girls' and women's rights.
We carry out our mission with our film festival, our youth program, and our free online film collection.
