Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

- Review of a deck draft we have for feedback and refining.
- Pitches for specific types of donors/programs
- We do not need graphics or any creative visual assets as our Creative Director oversees this.

What we have in place
  • We have a draft deck that we feel is almost done.
We have all the visual assets and capabilities to create more.
We have lots of data and all the pieces we need to put our story together, we just don't have the in-house expertise, as well we all wear different hats and need that outside expertise to let us know if we are on the right track and where we aren't coming across.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to grant an extra 80 hours of work to our Development Officer to implement these stories in grantwriting, fundraising strategy, seeking new donors, and recruiting champion board members with our ED.

We have an incredible, small but powerful organization that wins support of those who get to know us well. But we need to be able to have those who don't know do so quickly and at a glance. If we can get our story across on our website, in our staff presentations, a deck, annual report, we will garner much more support and will be able to successfully recruit new board members which we so desperately need. This will be a game changer for the sustainability and longevity of Women's Voices Now.
