  • Document outlining your Organization's design, including clearly defined roles, responsibilities and a chart or graphic that illustrates reporting structure

We're a young and growing startup and we're thinking through our organizational needs as we embark on our next stage of growth.

What we have in place
  • As Executive Director, I will be working with you directly on this project to help you understand the current roles and responsibilities of the team (only 5 staff currently) and the types of roles we are looking to hire for (4 additional staff).
How this will help
This project will save us $6,748 , allowing us to to build and validate evidence-based educational tools to reduce polarization and bridge divides.

This project is essential to our ability to achieve our mission as it will help us set up the internal infrastructure necessary to complete our goals.

Prep: Material Distribution & Review
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current job descriptions, Organization chart and challenges, as well as background information about the Organization’s mission and goals
  • Professional reviews documents shared, requests any additional information needed, and creates an agenda for project goal-setting call

Milestone 1: Goal Establishment & Needs Analysis
  • Professional connects with Organization for an overview session, gathering information about current issues with communication flow and efficiency within the Organization
  • Professional analyzes current job roles and reporting structure

Milestone 2: Initial Draft
  • Professional provides feedback on job descriptions and maps out a new reporting structure and Organization chart
  • Professional shares first draft with Volunteer Manager

Milestone 3: Design & Chart Delivery
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback to Professional’s proposal
  • Professional incorporates feedback and delivers an Organizational Design chart and role descriptions ready for implementation
