Social Media Content Calendar
Social Media Content Calendar
Project details
What we need
- A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
- A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details
We have a communication plan that includes social media post types, including donation solicitation, event invitations/volunteer solicitation, documentation of participation in community activities, services available, stories from people impacted by homelessness, articles related to homelessness, etc. We'd like to reduce the time we spend crafting social media posts, and increase impact and efficiency. Ideally, the deliverable would include some posts that can be adapted and repurposed.
What we have in place
- We currently have a communication plan with ideas for posts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a story bank, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to spend more time working with community partners on to increase homelessness services, collect more stories, and continue our work on eruption relief.
1. Informing our audience of the services we offer, so that they can refer people in need.
2. Personalizing the experience of homelessness with stories helps to eliminate negative stereotypes and misconceptions about people who experience homelessness.
3. Sharing problems and solutions will help people to be more informed, to get involved, and to hold their representatives accountable.

Our mission
We bring to life gospel values of justice, love, compassion and hope, through services, empowerment and advocacy.
What we do
We offer:
Homeless Outreach, Diversion, Rapid Re-housing, Veterans' Services, Housing First, Permanent Supportive Housing, Emergency Shelter, and more.
You may have heard about our micro shelters for lava evacuees that were built in 30 days during the 2018 eruption of the Kilauea volcano. https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2018/10/12/hawaii-county-only-quarter-lava-evacuees-have-found-permanent-housing/
We're currently working to open "Ohana Zones," which are essentially creative solutions to homelessness that use a community's resources to meet its needs. See the link to find out how we're turning an old hospital into a shelter!

We also are working to address a major cause of homelessness on our island--a lack of affordable housing. We're currently raising $40,000 to build a prototype modular home, that we hope will become a new option for people looking for affordable housing.
