Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

We have a custom built website that has gone through 3 iterations. The "designer" is really a CRM guy using a template we purchased. The site, however looks nor functions anything at all like we thought it would/should. He is NOT a designer and literally (almost anally) does exactly what we tell him to... we are not designers either so... blind leading the blind. :(

What we have in place
  • We currently have an ops guy w/ tech background & knowledge of what we need, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have recent CAPSTONE project - mktng results and a pattern, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to spend it on getting the problems discovered, fixed. We need additional software to help with donor wealth screening, something our current custom system doesn't do. Huge need before Cap campaign.

We utilize over 17,500 volunteers a year and engage thousands of donors - we MUST HAVE a simple, easy, articulate, engaging, relevant website & social presence. The template we chose can do anything, but the site is a mish-mosh of random spaghetti on the wall attempts to fix or update that has become increasingly worse, not better. We're only about a year out from needing to do a 10 million dollar capital campaign - our presence MUST be that of a 10 mil dollar organization!

Our mission

Fill Ministries' mission is to bring food, hope and transformation to children and families in need, with resources from our community.

What we do

Fill Ministries started as a feeding program in 2011 and has grown to include feeding (weekly home delivery + community pantry), in-home mentoring and job skills training. We have built an aquaponic farm for the purpose of improving our client families' diets with year-round produce. Extra produce is offered for sale and those revenues fund the purchase of additional produce that can't be grown in an aquaponic environment. With additional greenhouses, we will be able to fund our own operating costs. We consistently are blessed with 200 to 400+ volunteers every week who make meals, pack food boxes, work on the farm and deliver to low-income families in Forsyth and Dawson Counties in Georgia.

Testimonials

Jason was knowledgeable and affirming in his ability to understand our needs and wants for our website. We look forward to working together to clarify our vision together.

Website Audit Project

What a great organization! To get a sense of the work of the ministry of Fill Ministries, I had the privilege of volunteering at one of their meal prep events with my entire family. Suellen also took the time to show me their aquaponics farm as well as one of their food pantries. It was so enlightening and helpful to outline how they can better represent themselves through their website.
