Project details
What we need

- Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
- Note: This project is not designed to be used for prospect or grant research
Additional details
We're looking for research on leading themes for mobile responsivity, establishing a/b testing, new features in Drupal 9.
What we have in place
- We have an existing website (Drupal 7) that we would like to update and improve
We have staff who can provide support during research
We have staff who may be able to implement the recommended changes on the website and thereafter, maintain and update the new website
How this will help
This project will save us $5,239 , allowing us to advance our understanding of new website developments and trends.
A new/updated website will allow us to better serve our members, as well as the wider community, by providing a platform for us to communicate more effectively.
Project plan
Our mission
MACDC is a membership organization that seeks to build and sustain a high performing and adaptive community development sector that is supported by private and public investment and sound public policies. We advance racial and economic equity by creating healthy communities where everyone lives in housing they can afford, benefits from economic opportunities and can fully participate in the civic life of their community.
What we do
MACDC Program :
The Mel King Institute for Community Building fosters vibrant and thriving Massachusetts communities by advancing the skills, knowledge and leadership ability of professional practitioners and volunteer leaders in the community development field. We leverage collaborative educational partnerships that increase access, encourage innovation, and promote and institutionalize systemic success. Through the ongoing dialogue the Institute facilitates, organizations align their work towards the field's common vision, and adapt to the changing world.
Testimonials
(No testimonial has been submitted by John)
Volunteering for MACDC was a great pleasure for me! John, the project coordinator, did his best to introduce me to the nonprofit and goals of the research. He provided all the necessary information in a timely manner and was very helpful. I hope the research I made will help MACDC in website redesign and improvement.
