Project details
What we need
- An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
- A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details
May is national mental health awareness month. We would like a new infographic that shows information about one (of 10) top mental mistakes. We have a short video on our Youtube channel that shows an example of the mental mistake: All or Nothing Thinking. We do have a 2 page infographic. We would like to simplify it and use it in May to promote children's mental health.
What we have in place
- We currently have a first draft of an infograph but it is 2 pages, need 1., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a video that goes with the infograph, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to raise additional funds to keep producing short videos of the mental mistakes for distribution to the public.
We work with children affected by violence. Mental illness is often a factor. If we want to break generational cycles of violence, we need to be proactive and make a difference in children's lives. There are 10 major "mental mistakes" in thinking that begin early. They are infantile ways of thinking and ideally we are guided through them. If not, they lead to dangerous beliefs. We want to keep making videos with and for kids of these thinking mistakes, including infographs, to share publicly.
Project plan
Our mission
No one thinks straight in a crisis. We all need help to navigate the multiple systems involved with trauma, violence and poverty. HOPE's mission is to empower lives through hope, offering support, education and advocacy to anyone affected by child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence or homelessness.
What we do
We serve about 1700+ people a year in 2.5 rural counties in SE Minnesota. We have a domestic violence shelter, and offer advocacy and support to those who have experienced child abuse, sexual assault and homelessness. We are the only organization proving these services in our rural area.
Testimonials
Myra was open to ideas and changes, she did a great job simplifying important information. She was a very good communicator too!
I loved working with HOPE Coalition! Linda was very flexible on communication mediums, and gave detailed feedback on my design. Their mission resonated with me as well.
