  • We have annual reports, descriptions of programs, background on organization, and other print materials that should help you get started
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to provide FREE support to women and families affected by postpartum depression

Postpartum Support Virginia is finishing 10 years of service and we want to position ourselves for the next decade of programs.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with outline detailing current standing, strengths, weaknesses and competition, mission statement and vision, and overview of current strategies

Milestone 1: Analysis
  • Professional analyzes prep materials
  • Professional brainstorms with Volunteer Manager to better understand services, programs, activities, staffing and finances
  • Professional explores possibilities for new efforts, identifies opportunities, determines where change is possible and adjusts plans

Milestone 2: Recommendations
  • Professional refines the Organization’s mission, vision and values (if necessary)
  • Professional proposes strategic goals and objectives with tactics to reach those goals
  • Professional provides evidence of success of the proposed strategies and ways to measure the outcomes
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback to Professional's proposals

Our mission

The Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance (MMHLA) is a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to working with policymakers to address maternal mental health challenges.

MMHLA's vision is that all childbearing women in the United States will be educated about and screened for maternal mental health challenges and have access to resources for recovery.

What we do

MMHLA is the "go-to" organization for national policy issues related to maternal mental health. We focus on three specific areas in furthering this work:
