Impact statement
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to bring more congregations into our movement to ignite the power of faith communities to honor all of Creation by working together to protect and restore our shared watershed.

Project Details

What We Need
  • Designs for a predetermined number of marketing or communications materials such as invitations, email designs, graphics for social media, digital flyers, presentation design, and signage
  • Templates with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: This project does not include printing
Additional Details

We need to design one poster for a display for a Smithsonian exhibit called Water Ways. We would like this to focus on our flagship program that is called the One Water Partnership. All the guidance I have received is: "Poster: the standard poster size is 2' x 3' but anything in that neighborhood will be fine"

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have logos, photos, past example of a poster, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have colors, fonts and a great inspirational program to promote, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

This display will be made available to people interested in watershed preservation at the "top" of our local watershed. This can help us recruit new participants to our program. It will then travel to other locations that will help us to spread our message into new markets.

Project Plan

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides the Professional with a budget for print materials, finalized copy, high-resolution logo, and any visual branding guidelines to be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager also provides images for desired deliverables (if applicable), examples of existing marketing materials and links to online presence (website and social media)
  • Volunteer Manager shares event branding guidelines (if applicable)
Milestone 1: Preliminary Concepts
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss how print materials will be utilized, target audience, and style preferences
  • Professional develops preliminary sketches, and garners feedback from Volunteer Manager
Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional drafts print material designs, incorporating feedback from Volunteer Manager into the agreed upon final deliverable
Milestone 3: Final Draft
  • Professional delivers the final versions in the desired electronic format
  • Professional provides guidance on printing specifications (colors, size, etc.)

Our Mission

Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake's mission is to ignite the power of faith communities in the Chesapeake region to honor all of Creation by working together to protect and restore our shared watershed.

What We Do

We engage faith communities in meaningful actions to restore clean water. We offer educational programs, trainings for faith leaders, broker resources for restoration activities, and connect faith-based advocates to legislative issues that need their voice. Over the past several years we have worked with over 200 congregations respond to the challenges of our time. Collectively they have planted trees, installed rain gardens, planted native species, raised awareness within their communities, built internal green ministries to sustain ongoing activity and elevated the moral voice in the halls of power.
