Project details

What we need
  • A Public Relations (PR) strategy rooted in the Organization's public relations goals
  • Identification of the audiences Organization should be addressing and the media outlets they should target to reach stated audiences
  • A press list created based on Organization's target media outlets
  • Recommendations on the best tactics to build relationships with Organization's target media outlets
Additional details

Our organization is one of the few that has a focus on serving and supporting low income Black youth living in the suburbs of the SF Bay Area. We're also strategically positioned by offering a combination of youth development, family engagement and community outreach in direct partnership with the school district. This is innovative and unique because in most cases the school districts do NOT partner with 3rd party CBO's like ours. Our engagement success is huge! Problem - Only we know it.

What we have in place
  • We currently have several angles to the story to tell, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have testimonials and folks who would be willing to share, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,343 , allowing us to redirect these funds into the youth voice and leadership initiative that we've expanded throughout the county!

This project is vitally important because we have not differentiated ourselves from being a simple after school program, a club, or a holding pin for kids. We undersell our services and supports and minimize the value that we bring. Partly because we just aren't fully aware of it all. We need someone like you with a set of eyes and ears - fresh and ready to receive our messaging and transform it into a full out attack plan to share with the world.
