Project details

What we need
  • Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
  • Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
  • Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
  • Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details

Hi! We're a Philly-based nonprofit focusing on helping family members of victims of homicide. We also have therapists and counselors who visit schools and run groups. Our website is an old mess, but I'd love to specifically know what you'd change first and how. Thanks so much for your help!

What we have in place
  • We currently have a functioning website with basic copy, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an admin with nothing but time to devote to improving things, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to let people know who we are and what we do, which is a huge thing for a group that does great work but doesn't have a huge profile.

I want to make sure people know we exist as a resource. Mainly, I'd love to raise that awareness and be seen as an option for people trying to cope with the loss of their loved ones.

Testimonials

Jack was a huge help in figuring out what parts of our website were working and, more importantly, what parts were not. The notes he sent to us were detailed and thoughtful, and I'd work with him again in a second.

Office Manager

Website Audit Project

Alex was really open to the insights I discovered while auditing the site and all the suggestions I had to make, making the process way easier! Alex was also very responsive to emails and willing to coordinate with me to find times that worked for both of us and plan out the project. He made me feel like the work I did was important and I would definitely consider taking on another project for Anti-Violence Partnership!
