Additional details

Looking for support on our semi-formal Portland Hope Gala being held in November 2019 at the Oregon Zoo including invitations, email designs, graphics for social media, digital flyers, presentation design, and signage. Our theme is around investing in our future and freeing the world from the pain and suffering of cancer. Our high level visual vision is unfinished images of a globe showing the need we still have to save more lives, utilizing blues and greens.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a general theme idea, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have event details and mission content, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to positively impact those faced with cancer and ultimately save more lives.

The Portland Hope Gala is our Oregon and SW Washington market event focused on bringing community leaders and influencers together from various industries to make an impact in the fight against cancer. The money raised supports critical access to care services including rides to and from treatment, as well as lodging for those who travel long distances for treatment. Funds also directly support cutting edge research as well as education and awareness around prevention and early detection.

Our mission

The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
